Title: Postdoctoral Fellow in Cardiovascular Disease and Cancer
Description: The Ky lab is a National Institutes of Health-, American Heart Association-, and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute-funded internationally recognized program that focuses on advancing the cardiovascular health of patients living with and beyond cancer through clinical science. The Ky Lab has a postdoctoral position in the field of cardiovascular and cancer clinical epidemiology and data science. This position for a clinical researcher involves the use of large datasets comprised of biomarker, echocardiography, genomic, clinical, social determinants of health and other "-omic" data to understand individual patient risk. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or M.D. with strong experience in epidemiology, data science, and computational and data analysis. The ideal candidate must also have strong written and oral communication skills, and be able to effectively design an epidemiologic study and develop and execute an analytic plan with close mentorship. This is a two-year position with the opportunity to renew for multiple years.
Qualifications: Ph.D. or MD with a strong background in epidemiology, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, risk prediction, and manipulation of large datasets. Expertise in biomarkers, genomics, and imaging is also a strength. A demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary and diverse team is important.

Title: Cardio-Oncologist, Associate or Full Professor, Clinician Educator Track
Description: The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of outpatient and inpatient services at several Penn Medicine practice site as well as focused interest in cardio-oncology and related interdisciplinary subspecialty (heart failure, imaging, prevention). Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in discussions and didactic lectures during cardio-oncology morning meetings as well as teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and advanced practice providers.
Clinical responsibilities may include attending on the inpatient and outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and associated practice sites. Candidates should be prepared to provide services for general cardiology patients based on the needs of the division. Additional opportunities for clinical care in other subspecialties will be considered on an individual basis taking into consideration applicant expertise and divisional priorities.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical, basic science, and/or translational research focused in cardio-oncology. Selected candidates will be expected to develop and grow a collaborative and extramurally funded research program in the areas of clinical interest. Selected candidates will also be expected to produce high-quality research which will lead to publications. Scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track.
There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Title: Clinical Cardio-Oncologist - Academic Clinician
Description: The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases.
Teaching responsibilities may include educating medical students, residents, cardiovascular fellows and advanced practice providers. Selected candidates will be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the organization.
Clinical responsibilities may include attending on the inpatient and outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and associated practice sites. As the Cardio-Oncology Program is a part of the Consultative (general) Cardiology Section, candidates should be prepared to provide services for general cardiology patients based on the needs of the division. Opportunities for non-invasive imaging will be considered on an individual basis taking into consideration applicant expertise and divisional priorities.
Selected candidates will be given ample mentorship to achieve clinical and clinical research productivity with a goal of attaining both national and international prominence in the field. Members of the Penn Cardio-Oncology program work collaboratively with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and surgeons in the NCI-designated Abramson Comprehensive Cancer Center to provide exceptional care for complex conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to the continued growth and clinical development of the division.
