Overview

Our overarching goal of this patient-centered symposium is to provide our patients at the Abramson Cancer Center with actionable knowledge relevant to their cardiovascular health as they navigate their cancer journey.

Who Should Attend

This symposium is designed for patients, their families, caregivers, cardiologists, oncologists, and all healthcare professionals supporting those whose cancer treatment has affected their heart. Additionally, advocates and members of the public who may benefit from understanding cardiovascular care after cancer treatment are invited.

Learning Objectives

  • To learn about the intersection between heart disease and cancer.

  • To gain an understanding about how common cancer therapies can affect the heart.

  • To learn about strategies we use to screen and detect heart disease.

  • To learn about strategies to improve heart health.

  • To gain insights into our current clinical research.
